About

We Are Committed to Fostering the Growth and Development of Large, Leading, Global Companies in Israel.

About

Israel's tech scene is renowned for its innovation and dynamism, often referred to as the "Startup Nation.” It is home to exciting new tech companies and serves as an attractive hub for R&D centers of multinational corporations.

However, Israel is no longer just a "Startup Nation." Over the past decade, Israel's tech industry has experienced unprecedented growth, solidifying its role as a key sector in the national economy.

The tech sector's output grew by over 10%, reaching approximately 237 billion NIS, maintaining a 15.3% share of Israel's GDP. Additionally, tech exports surpassed 50% of total exports for the first time, totaling $67 billion. The sector's resilience was highlighted in a Bank of Israel report, noting its significant role in mitigating the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic .Against this backdrop and amidst the emphasis on startups, the growth sector—comprising Israeli tech companies that have scaled beyond the startup phase—remains crucial to the resilience and success of the Israeli economy but is often overlooked and underrepresented.

In 2021, the industry saw record-breaking IPOs and fundraising, culminating in $27 billion in investments.

To address this gap in policymaking, it is essential that the Israel Growth Forum ensures the growth sector is heard. By actively involving leaders of growth companies in policy-shaping processes, their unique perspectives and experiences can help craft better legislation and government initiatives. This inclusive approach will ensure that both emerging startups and established tech companies can thrive, driving sustained innovation and economic growth in Israel's tech ecosystem.

At The Israel Growth Forum, we address the specific challenges faced by growth companies in Israel, ensure the growth sector has a place within the national narrative, and promote the sharing of best practices and knowledge throughout our ecosystem. All as part of our dedication to creating a supportive environment that nurtures the growth of tech companies in Israel.

The member companies of The Israel Growth Forum are leading tech firms that have chosen to grow in and from Israel, driven by the conviction that Israel is a prime location for technology, innovation, and growth. These companies, which range from private to public, have progressed well beyond the early stages and represent a diverse and rich cross-section of the Israeli tech industry. Together, they reflect the strong, talented, and value-driven leadership that defines the Israeli tech sector.
